To participate in this retreat, it is necessary to:

• Have previously attended the Shamatha Retreat in Sitges or another Shamatha retreat with Jigme Khyentse Rinpoche.
• Commit to maintaining complete silence throughout the entire retreat.
• Commit to handing in your mobile phone and any other electronic devices (computer, tablet, etc.) upon arrival at the retreat.

This is a residential intensive practice retreat, created to deepen the practice of Shamatha meditation in a protected environment, free from the usual distractions and demands of everyday life. For this reason, no exceptions can be made regarding silence or the use of electronic devices.

We kindly ask that anyone who feels unable to maintain these conditions, or who, due to family, professional, or any other circumstances, needs to remain connected with the outside world during the retreat, refrains from applying for a place.
